As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Betrayal of Trust report, there is a new regulatory landscape surrounding child safety, underpinned by new Child Safe Standards. The Child Safe Standards are compulsory minimum standards for all Victorian schools, to ensure they are well prepared to protect children from abuse and neglect.

Pascoe Vale North Primary School Council

The School Council plays a vital role in the life of our school. School Council is charged with the responsibility of developing educational policies, maintaining the facilities and grounds, overseeing financial operations and ensuring a quality education for all our students.

The Pascoe Vale North Primary School Council operates effectively using a committee structure. These Committees are:

Each of these Committees consist of parents and teachers. Parents do not have to be a member of School Council to be a member of one of these Committees. The Council’s Committees generally meet once a month, a week before a school council meeting.
